One person, who builds the thing.
Deskload is me, Amir Tihad, working from London. There is no team, no account manager and no sales layer. The person who sits with your staff and works out where the hours go is the same person who writes the code and the same person who picks up the phone when something breaks.
Why this, and why lettings
Most "AI for business" work I see is either a training course or a chatbot bolted onto a website. Neither removes any work. What actually costs a small business money is the same forty minutes, done by hand, four times a day, by someone capable of better — and that is a systems problem, not an AI problem.
Letting and property management agencies are where that pattern is easiest to see. A shared inbox that mixes emergencies with junk. Details retyped from an email into a CRM into a portal. Certificate dates tracked in a spreadsheet that carries a real financial penalty when someone forgets to open it. It is the same handful of processes at almost every agency, which means I can build them properly rather than approximately.
How I work
I am an engineer before I am a consultant, and the bias shows: if a task can be done with a rule, it gets a rule. Rules are cheaper, faster, testable, and they behave identically every time. AI earns its place only where the input is genuinely messy human language and judgement adds something — and even there, a person approves anything that leaves the building.
That is not caution for its own sake. A system that quietly does the wrong thing in a business with ten staff is worse than no system, because nobody notices for a month. So I build things that fail loudly, stop when they are unsure, and can be turned off without the work stopping.
What I have built
Before this I spent years building software for my own projects rather than for clients: data pipelines against public APIs, analysis tools that had to be right because I was the one relying on the output, and published tools with real users and real bug reports. It is unglamorous experience, but it is the relevant kind — most of this work is careful data handling and knowing what happens on a bad day.
The demo on this site is the honest version of a portfolio: a working system you can pick apart, with the reasoning for every decision shown on screen. I would rather be judged on that than on a list of logos.
What I am not going to pretend
This is a new practice. I do not have a decade of client case studies and I am not going to borrow anyone else's or dress up a side project as one. What I can offer instead is a small, low-risk first step, fixed prices published before you call, work that you own outright, and the fact that a new practice will care about your project considerably more than an established one would.
If that is not enough reassurance, that is a reasonable position to take, and the free call costs you nothing to find out.
The quickest way to get a straight answer about your own situation is tobook the 25-minute call, or email me directly athello@deskload.co.uk.
Have a look at the demo first
It is the most honest thing on this site. Five minutes with it will tell you more about whether I can help than any amount of About page.
